Who We Are
We are online financial resource to help you better understand your money. We first launched in 2013. We were committed to evolving and providing more and more value and we completely transformed how we served and reached people through this platform.
In that, we realized that no matter how much we grew, the was always a need for a place that people could come to with unbiased, practical financial resources and that’s why we decided to get back to our roots in 2019 to be just that. Let us take you on a little journey that Makes Cents 2 Me has taken over the years:
August 1, 2013

November 10, 2014After working diligently to provide more value to our online community, we launched Version 2 of Make Cents 2 Me. Which included a full suite of all new learning modules to help you take your financial knowledge to the next level.
December 16, 2016
After years of providing valuable and practical financial resources, we decided to really take things to another level. Makes Cents 2 Me becomes a corporation and we submit our registration to become a Registered Investment Advisory Firm.
June 30th, 2017
Makes Cents 2 Me, INC. becomes a Registered Investment Advisor Firm in the state of North Carolina.
July 7th, 2017Makes Cents 2 Me Version 3 is launched. We reach the pinnacle of what we hoped we would be able to accomplish through this platform. While this was an exciting accomplishment, it came with many responsibilities, regulation etc. We got away from being able to focus providing that free, practical value that was the backbone of what this platform was all about: Helping you “Make Cents” of your money.
April 1, 2019
We came back to our roots. Becoming the platform that you all knew and loved. Practical and useful financial information. We want to become your primary resource for financial insights to help you elevate to the next level.
